Initial Assessment

The initial appointment involves a thorough review of your presenting problem, as well as background information pertaining to previous psychiatric treatment, medical history, social history and a review of past records or tests, if applicable.  Before the appointment you will be required to complete an intake form and may also be asked to complete some questionnaires so your provider can have a sense of the severity of your symptoms and monitor response to treatment. Upon completion the impression of the problem will be discussed , as well as recommendations for treatment such as medications or referral to psychotherapy.

Follow Up Appointment

20-30 Mins | $150.

During this appointment we review treatment response and make adjustments as necessary. Also, addressing any concerns or questions the client may have about diagnoses, treatment goals or medication.

No Show/Less than 24 hrs Cancellation
$70

For initial assessments , if you are more than 15 mins late you will need to be rescheduled and appointment will be considered a Late cancellation .
 
If you are late for your follow up appointment it will still end at scheduled appointment time to accommodate the next patient. The full fee for the scheduled visit will still apply.
 
If you want to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.  If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice you will be charged a no-show fee of $70, regardless of your reason for the cancellation.  The payment reflects time reserved.

GeneSight Testing I Cost varies 

Many insurances  will cover this test with no out of pocket expense or for a fee, up to $330. You may also seek financial assistance to afford test, if necessary. GeneSight testing is a pharmacogenomic test which analyzes your response to Psychiatric medications based on genetic variations in your DNA. At Core Of Hope Psychiatry we use this information to provide the most customized care and improve likelihood of positive outcomes.

The sample is obtained via a cheek swab and can be completed in the office or mailed to your home address and is then sent to the lab for analysis with results in less than a week.
